How Lucky Are We by Milton P. Ehrlich

One night
a fiery red ball
appeared in the night sky
among all the stars.
What could it be worried me?
A sign of climate change?
A new UFO?
An aura for an exploding star?
Is it a half-second SOS?
Are we all in trouble
Every artist I know
claimed it to be a work of art.
Life is too black.
We need more light.
Let it. Be.
