3 Haiku by Monic Ductan

"Savannah, GA"

I dream of willows,
wide and delicate, tops like
porcelain pasta.

"Atlanta, GA"

White columns on a
porch that wraps around my mind.
Antebellum gone.

"Summer Rain Comes to Dry Pond"

We gather our wet
bodies, peel away clothes like
sticky bandages.

Monic Ductan is a Southern fiction writer and poet from rural Georgia. Her work has recently appeared in several magazines, including Stone Highway Review and Dogzplot. Monic also has work forthcoming in Camroc Press Review.
