So I Married a Rainbow by Sarah Crewe

I know the almond blue of you.
Red lips in the dark. Lighthouse boy
to she that is obsessed with ships
and sea and splash. Ness, i never
did spawn a koi carp tail in the
bathtub - Instead you carved us
pumpkin walls, spattered orange
on khaki shorts. Your indigo violet
traces and tears through the white
cloud wife thighs at night. Your
leonine glow, drowns us, in yellow.

Sarah Crewe is 30 years old and from the Port of Liverpool, England. Her chapbook, Aqua Rosa, is available from erbacce press. Sarah has work upcoming in In The Company of Ghosts: The Poetics of the Motorway anthology and in Rising magazine. Her work has also appeared at Route 57OtolithsRed Fez, erbacceSunfish and The Camel Saloon.
