Citadel by Juliet Wilson

I see us wandering through cities
in the country where you belong
whose streets throng
with people beautiful as you.

We climb a hill
where cobbles shine with poetry
to a white tower
where we make love in a tiny room
with a view of the mountains.

A bell chimes in the distance.
